Nominations for the Bright Spark Awards are now open until 1^st of December 2024

Background 

ISSMGE TC308 ‘Energy Geotechnics’ hereby requests nominations for young geotechnical engineers to be considered for the award of an ISSMGE “Bright Spark” lecture at the 3rd International Conference on Energy Geotechnics (ICEGT-2025) to be held in Paris, France, 17-20 June 2025.

To promote young members of ISSMGE to play a major role in various international and regional conferences, the Bright Spark Lecture award was introduced by past president, Professor Charles W.W. Ng. Each recipient will be invited to give a 20-30 minute presentation at the conference and write a plenary paper. 

Eligibility: 

• Outstanding and promising young members working in the field of energy geotechnics
• 36 years of age or under at the last day of the conference 

Required documents:

• Application form and any attachment noted on it
• Publication list

Deadline: December 1st 2024
